Popular Post @owlstalk
They're a good side They've got gamechangers in their team and their frontline They're very dangerous The sending off was disappointing It was a reckless challenge Whether it's a good challenge or not it's reckless and you can't do that today I understand why the referee has given a red card We have got to be a lot more understanding of the rules in lots of ways and it's the fifth red card which is really poor 11 1 Owlstalk Shop
Guest
But the experts on here said it was a soft card Surely a manager with 30 years experience is completely wrong 1

itsonmyhead
He deserved to go, it was a stupid challenge. We have major discipline problems highlighted by a yellow card for kicking a ball away while down to 10 men 1 1
Ronio
To be fair to Shaw, there is such a fine line between a perfectly timed crunching tackle and a reckless tackle. In this instance, it just happened to be the latter. I'm sure he will learn from this.

Kopparberg
I think Pulis is right to say what he did, about the tackle and the decisions. He doesn’t want the league looking at us like we *enjoy* red card type tackles... or that we deserve 4 penalties against us next game
Kew Owl
Doesn’t look like we will be appealing against the red card - which seems the right decision

Silly tackle, Millwall had one sent off Vs us at their place last year that was similar and was harsh on them awswell.
Pieman
I don’t think it was ever in doubt. One thing I f***ing hate about the game at present is the girly screams that go up as soon as anyone touches a player. It’s pathetic. When Pulis talks about understanding the rules, I am sure he is also alluding to that. We are significantly worse than everyone else at the triple salchow with blood curdling, my leg is only held on with a layer of skin, screeeeaaaaammmm.

I do not think he made any contact and the Reading guy could have been booked for simulation. I think the ref was conned by the simulation to a degree and without contact, a yellow card and a dressing down might have been acceptable 1
