Yeah quite similar opponents.

Totally forgetting that the Preston game was away from home & with 10 men for 75 minutes. Apart from that, great comparison.

Now blaming Westwood's distribution for Windass' red card and us having 0 shots/possession, whilst crediting Wildsmith for us having 7 shots on target, honestly amazing.

Home or away doesn't matter without fans there. Many teams do just as well with 10 men as they do with 11...obviously not us...but we don't have any better comparisons with Westwood only lasting 14 minutes in one other game.. Maybe look at OWLS v Bournemouth where we had 10 men. 10 shots, 2 on target, (1-0) 41% possession. Or Luton down to 10 men 53% possession, 14 shots 3 on target (0-1)...granted, Luton are a weaker side than Preston.

There are no direct comparisons but if you go back far enough to when Westwood played...our stats are very poor because oh his long ball only style. It's also why Pulis likes him btw.

Not sure what’s so difficult to understand.

Westwood made a mistake and got punished, Wildsmith has made 2 or 3 major ones and hasn’t

Not rocket science

What’s the 2/3 major mistakes that Wildsmith has made. Not that major as none have resulted in any goals against.
Your argument just doesn’t stack up

Mentioned them before.

Look it up if you care enough.

No need to look up,
Wildsmith has not made a mistake that’s been major or cost us a goal.

The fact is Westwood has. You can have your opinion but at least have decent reasons, not lame excuses.

Classic Wildsmith

Pulls off a save that only he could make (of our three)

Instantly goes to pieces:

1. Gets a shot wrong and saved by a goal line clearance

2. Absolutely shocking starting position for the goal. Goal scored from a slow freekick going across the 6-yard box and headed in from 3 yards

Yep...once again it’s the keepers fault...the goal was Paterson’s fault...made the run easy for Joao ffs

Paterson and Joao shouldn’t even be in question if the keeper stands in the right place.

If Paterson is goal side of Joao that’s 2 yards out. 100% keeper territory
