Ournsignings are pants because we have no money and had -12 pts. Thats down to DC, not Monk

Yet we wasted a million on two players we didn’t really need? We haven’t even recruited properly for the U23s

That doesn't make sense.

How doesn’t it make sense?

How can he make a mess of something that was already a mess when he arrived?

How can he improve it when he’s not had any money to spend? Or when we start the season on -12 and no one decent wanted to come?

You say he signed these players which is factually correct. But the alternative was play the under 23’s because we hardly had any players.

This mess isn’t monks doing. He’s not blameless but why can’t people see the problem is the man at the top. Its clear as day. You’re either not very clever or you’re thick.

Absolutely bizarre that you keep banging this drum,  Garry Monk decided what areas needed strengthening and had the final say on every single signing identified

He did indeed. This is the way it happens at most clubs.

Manager identifies positions and type of player he wants to join the club. Recruitment team (Hughes and Downes not Paixao) go and find players within our budget who fit the profile Monk highlighted.

What else could he do? With an owner like ours, who has a mysterious 'transfer team' around him, a man who knows literally nothing about football, do you think Monk should have quit because he couldn't sign his own players, or wait to be booted and take the chairman's money on gardening leave?!

The issue is the owner, Monk was terrible, a truly woeful manager, but these signings weren't his.

It’s not mysterious at all, it’s been explained many many times

And the signings were his,  there’s a recruitment team in place that deals with Identifying signings upon the managers requests , Steve Bruce’s boys supported by the chairman and AP deals with agents

All been explained time and time again

Thats the problem though. Our budget was two packs of half eaten crisps

Where's it been explained and by whom?

Have you every asked the owner directly deals with signings? I have and its not how you paint it to be at all.

What are people on saying Monk didn't sign these players? Unless you mean he didn't use his own money and his own pen for them to sign the contract? He came up with this absurd 352 during lockdown whilst he was sat twiddling his thumbs. The players can't and won't adhere to it. Now the squad has the worst attacking set up we've had for decades. Maybe in history.

Manager meets with head of recruitment to identify and confirm targets

Theres not a chance a bunch of players were just thrown at Monk

Yeah - I bet they said to Monk "You can have ANYONE you like, strikers, midfielders etc - we're gonna throw the wallet at it and bring you top quality - who do you want?"

Monk - "Well there's a lad with his leg broken in two places who's not played since he broke it in February and who's got metal pins in it - I reckon he'll do"

And they're all experienced Championship players of course he brought them in.

Problem is we recruited to play 3-5-2 leaving ourselves short in other areas, Pulis comes in changes up the formation instantly and players like Brown don't fit in and we don't have a experienced left back.

Marriott and Flint out injured, Kachunga was just another body in.
