Popular Post FreshOwl
And this is comfortably (and I mean comfortably) the worst Wednesday side I’ve ever seen. Worse than 03/04 & 2010/2011. At least in those eras we were capable of having a few decent attempts on target in a match This group spend 90 mins hoofing the ball aimlessly whenever they are in possession. That is not down to TP, it was happening long before he joined. We have no passages of play, absolutely zero identity. 90% of them don’t look like footballers, and that is not an exaggeration. What a hell of a job this is. I reckon even TP didn’t think it was this bad A proper ‘see it to believe it’ moment Honestly can’t see us scoring more than 20 goals. Relegation by February. We are already getting cut adrift. Norwich and Reading next 6

jonnyowl
Easily, I've been going since 1991! The squad that we had under Irvine in League One was better than this!

keefdave
The Burtenshaw/ Ashurst era was very bad, but this is getting there. 4
Popular Post Freshfish
Missed out on the magnificent 70’s then. That’s the bench mark for terrible and what I saw today was a performance Big Jack would have been happy with. I’ll settle for that for now. 18

Athelwulf
...or, a point against one of the strongest teams in the division. We've just got two points from two fixtures which, bearing in mind what we have on the pitch, should have yielded no points. We're not going to climb the table playing against the likes of Swansea and Stoke. If we're playing like this against the weaker teams when we've got pace up front, then we're doomed. But I don't think that will happen.
theowlsman
It could be a lot worse actually. There’s always next week. 1

Rogerwyldesmullet
This gang are poor but they were competitive when Fletcher was fit and as footballers they are better than the 70s crew. BTW - what is Gary Taylor Fletcher doing these days? O Grady? Could they still do a job for us?

Yes, but it wasn't just this side. We had Fletcher, Forestieri and Hooper in there too. We've sold the quality off, that's why we're poo.
