Fletcher's injured again and could miss playing against us on Saturday.

Of course we’d have more options if we still had Fletcher, but if we are to play just the single striker, someone more mobile is needed. It was too easy to resort to the long high ball into the box when we had Fletcher, which was too limiting, and didn’t give us much control of the game. We didn’t have the threat last night, that we might have had, were Fletcher playing, but we were much more in control, and I rarely felt we would lose the game

Yep. That's the drawback of him plus his age. But when he did play, he suited us very well. He would suit the current set up. A similar type of physical player to hold it up but preferably slightly younger and quicker, would be ideal up top. Along with a direct Murphy type on the wing.

You can clearly see the shape that TP uses

As Swansea spread the ball left to right in attacking us the nearest man presses and we shuffle across as a team filling the space.
We seemed to tire second half and that’s when they started to look dangerous.
TP has only been in post a short time but already we look hard to beat.
The Jan window will be crucial in adding staff he will want.
Pretty sure he wouldn’t have taken Kachunga but I think Brown will fit into this side.
I did like Patterson playing that role last night as he works hard and is good in the air.
Reckon we’ll be ok once he gets a couple of forwards in place and a winger.
Flint will be his mainstay once he’s back and fit.
Don’t really know too much about Dunkley.
He’ll be worried he’s lost KW though.

Yes, it sort of resembled how Carlos played in season two, and probably with the same intention, of making us very hard to beat
