POST MATCH REACTION - what did you make of that?

Recommended Posts

First half OK. Passed and moved well. Kept the ball and didn’t give away silly fouls. Played to a plan.

Second half worked hard but none of first half positives on show.

Overall fairly grim as a match and we don’t really look a threat. Felt sorry for Rhodes as he was so isolated, yet still looks our best bet up front.

Did well first half and gave them a runaround.

2nd half under the cosh as we retreated. Probably fair result.

We are weak as p*ss up front though ... it doesn't matter who plays there as we don't have a decent striker at the club.

We would be a threat with 2 beasts up top.

You mean like Atty and Joao? 🤨

Nice to see us play like we actually had a game plan plus some effort and commitment to the cause.

Played some decent stuff first half, good goal.

Players are obviously on board with what Pulis is wanting them to do which is a good sign.

Baby steps but if we can get players like Iorfa, Flint, Windass and Brown back and add a striker we will look something like.

Foul on Shaw at the back post says otherwise...that's what the ref pointed to

Another one!

So Palmer fouled Palmer

Their bloke hand balled it

Odobajo kicked in the head

Paterson fouled

Shaw fouled on back post.

NO GOAL

Much better

Had Wildsmith moved his feet instead of standing with them planted to the ground as Ayew moved across to make his shot the result could have been very different.

Ayew had both sides of the goal to aim for JVA gave him his strong foot side...Wildsmith not to blame at all from 8 yards out ffs

The real problem started as we stood off every challenge on the LHS and let them play through us. We were too deep all 2nd half.

It was a great point away from home to 4th in the table

Our future is bright, our future is Pulis.

Got us organised, knows what he’s doing. We have safe hands.

Wasn’t my choice for manager but two games in and I’m seeing green shoots of hope.

Me too.

I think the result would have been different against Preston had we had 11 men on the pitch.

Decent point. I’d be interested to know why Van Aken flounced to his team mates after their goal. Looked as if he was wearing divers boots. Nice bit of typical Wednesday drama at the end as well. You’d think TP will be putting a zoom call in to his boss asking for a couple of strikers after the socialist bubble winter festival.

Hi Mr Chansiri

Can we please buy Ayew?

Ta x

The bloke is thirty years old but still looks like he could run through concrete walls all day!

Its actually frightening when you see a proper player in this league.
No wonder Van Aken browned his trousers!
