Manwë
I'm guessing Swansea are supposed to be zonal at corners, cos the guy who lost Reach had the biggest moan of all.
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Bannan's corners have been a bit anaemic for a while now. Rather than battle to improve that, we just turned a weakness into a strength and made sure Reach was on hand to stroke his pea-roller home. Genius from Pulis.

Pieman
Played really well today. Took more responsibility than usual. I just wish he would believe in himself a bit more when he nearly went through down the middle.

OxonOwl
Our man, can't see who it is, that runs to the near post and past it is genius as he take his man with him and opens the gap. Well worked 2

Well worked I didn’t notice that. Immediate impact from the famous Pulis Play Book...
CalmJimmers
Hope we can get more set piece goals. Seeing a well worked set piece is as exciting and satisfying as any other goal. Glad to see Pulis saying he sees Reach as a wide man. When he's put out left he's been out top scorer from midfield and top assist man. Hoping the goal gives him a confidence boost. Swingin' Sixties
You also notice a great block from Paterson, who just jumps in front of his defender at the last second, blocking 2 of them off so leaving the gap for Reach to shoot into the corner. Lovely football theatre! If all of that routine has been created since TP arrived, that's great news. Rather silly tactics of Swansea to crowd the goal area like that, especially after the Ref had had words about pushing - they were really inviting him to give a foul. How did Ayew not get a 2nd yellow card? He follows the Ref for yards, still blurting after seeing yellow, then waits for him after the final whistle to give him some more. Also noted the pitch, looked like a herd of elephants had trampled all over it. Shocking condition for an ex-premier league club

Well worked Reach was near the back post at the start of the move, he was closely marked, we had 2 players infront of him with their markers. Reach ran away from goal and across the penalty area while his marker was blocked by our 2 men. Reach was then unmarked. His marker had to go the other way round our 2 men and couldn't catch Reach. Watch it and you will see it quite clearly. It was a well worked move. We did similar in a previous goal where Windass scored.
Joe Sunburn
Good video angle. JVA (4?) drags a defender out of the way. Paterson (5?) impedes another defender or 2 to open the gap for Reach. Lonely Reach swipes it. More Middlewood magic makes it to matchday. UTO.
