BIG D
I should just point out that Westwood kept a clean sheet tonight
matthefish2002
I can see why Pulis called him back. When you are struggling you look to your experienced players. Best Westwood is not what we need. Too injury prone and slightly over the hill.

prowl
What was he doing for that cross. His positioning was miles out and he ended up flapping at it. I thought he kept it out but the ref gave a goal kick so he couldn't have. It didn't take long to break him. I hope he's ok but I've seen nothing from him so far. Tommy Crawshaw
The problem is we need Westwood or a replacement, because the other 2 are so weak. Wildsmith was like a rabbit caught in the headlights at times. For that free kick that went just wide he was way to far over the other side of the goal and left a massive gap. For the disallowed goal at the end I've no idea what he was doing, statuesque and looked terrified. His judgement re crosses just seems to have deserted him and this when he wasn't under pressure from forwards.

There’s absolutely no way I can see he gets a new deal after this season anyway, but whilst ever he’s contracted to the club, and the new manager is saying stuff like that, he can’t possibly be ‘moved on from’ in everyone’s minds. June 2021 let’s just hope we’ve stayed up and this whole saga will then have reached its natural end.

Rogerwyldesmullet
Wildsmith stood still for the disallowed goal because the ref had already blown. He did OK but he needs a haircut and then he will improve. Top knots have all but done for Gareth Bale and where’s that Woronin bloke now? Sam Ellis short back and sides, Keegan perm or (ahem) the Rodger Wylde Mullet. These, along with the Ralph Coates comb over are the classic footy hair styles and make the players a cut above. 1 1

cowl
Just reading some of Pulis' comments after the game, it doesn't sound as though it's immediately obvious that Westwood's groin injury will necessarily be such a lengthy one. Hopefully he'll be back sharpish because we really need him.
WalthamOwl
For me Westwood should be our number one. However I think after not playing for so long he shouldn’t have been thrown straight in to the first team like he was.
