beswetherick 3,971
39 years old and still taking the píss in Serie A, 10 goals in 6 games so far. There’s every chance he’ll be playing Champions League football in his 40s which is ludicrous Best player of the last 15 years excluding Messi and Ronaldo (and more of a character than both of them put together)
Tea Baggins 4,166
I agree the guy is an absolute freak of a human (in a good way) To be fair, what helps him is the fact that his game has never been about pace or beating a man so time was always going to be kinder but my goodness what a player. he also looks after himself and under that personality is a top, top professional. Kopparberg 6,305
The guys bones seem to be made of titanium. He’s done well wherever he’s been, pretty much.
markg 2,567
What a career. Played for most of the biggest clubs in the world
CalmJimmers 2,200
Isn't he a black belt in some martial art, and does a lot of yoga? He's ridiculously balanced and flexible, obviously takes care of his body, whilst also being naturally incredible physically. A role model for anyone wanting to elongate their playing career. beswetherick 3,971
The bit about picking Gattuso up and dropping him headfirst in a bin made me laugh out loud. I hope he plays til he’s 50, the guy is brilliant https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/23/ageless-zlatan-ibrahimovic-continues-to-take-care-of-business-for-milan-serie-a
SiJ 47,546
He's an absolute freak. It probably took me a bit longer than it should have done to fully appreciate him, but then you see him rock up to the PL at the age of 35 and he absolutely bossed it. Still going now and finds himself at the top of Serie A. Incredible player and athlete.
