oldishowl 5,191
Unfortunately I am old enough to remember him playing at Plymouth where I thought he was a cultured midfielder, in today’s terms. Strange but when he played for the pigs I thought he was a clogger. 1

morganowl 624
he is 62 and been mostly a scout ,now assistant manager , pulis pretty much said all his staff are even older than him and retired , 2 of them were fetched out of retirement at west brom, middlesborough dave kemp and someone else. id have thought chansiri when interviewing pulis would have his team ready and part of agreeing to the job , he looked like he took training on his own on monday .
Kopparberg 8,014
Not sure what to make of this. For a scout he has very small eyes. Hmmmm UTO Tho

Let's hope he spotted a striker or two that we could invest in. It'll come in handy when we are in the Champions league.
ashley8 371
To be fair it's not Pulis personal age it's how aged his football is that's my concern. 2

LondonOwl313 2,474
Odd appointment to me but will back what Pulis thinks. Just hoping it doesn’t mean that he’s not been able to attract more established coaches to join him

His unveiling at the press conference was hardly a rousing affair particularly from DC?

Blatter 3,006
Interesting appointment this one. A decent midfielder in his day even if his choice of club was a bit suspect. His more recent work though has been in scouting for clubs that have recruited well, and before that in coaching and marketing. Reported to have a huge database of players he has scouted. Pretty obvious where his immediate involvement is going to be.
Tommy Crawshaw 1,438
Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember him playing, especially for them next door in the 80's. Seems be more of a scout than a coach.

Team with Keith Edwards etc. When I first got into football as a kid he was a decent player for them. Played three or four years at Rotherham as well.
