3 0 defeat.

Mistakes by a nervous defence, and out of sorts goalie.

Just had 2 clean sheets in a row. Look more solid since Iorfa is back.

And how do you know Westwood is out of sorts?! 😏

Could it be another mind the gap season?

11/12 1-0 H Utd.      20/21 1-0 H B’mouth

11/12 0-0 A R’dale.  20/22 0-0 H M’wall

11/12 Jones takes over, wins first match against Bury at Home and the rest is history.

20/21 Pulis takes over, Preston A?

As long as we don’t have 2 game form tables like we did earlier this season. Took an age for so many to see how bad Monk was, with people even refusing to count last seasons debacle. Amazing that we’re only 11 games in, seems like an age. Let’s be a bit more measured about this manager and judge him on results in a balanced way, not picking and choosing which games to include.

Hey those form tables were pure fact

I never changed the points on them or the scores or the results etc

Just reported straight facts!

As much as I’d love to agree, the run of games up to the January window are going to be a massive test, especially given that we have some big names out.

We shouldn’t expect TP to work wonders with the bare minimum he has at his disposal. Would definitely be happy with a point on Saturday.

Would be great for Pulis, the players and the chairman to start off with a win wouldn’t it and I hope for all our sakes that happens.

Im still quietly optimistic to see what will happen this season now Pulis is in and saying all the right things, if we can end up in the top half come the end of the season, I will consider that a job well done.

Having thought about it I can honestly see us having loads of chances and balls into the box but loads of missed chances and missed opportunities

If that's the case we shouldn't take too much from it as we don't really have the kind of strikers that Pulis would want up front I'm sure

So basically we could fluff chances  in this game (that's what I'm expecting) but let's be patient

What we saying?

Wednesday to smash goal after goal in after being unshackled from the remarkably bizarre and constrained way that Monk had us playing?

Will we see a similar response to when Megson was (rightly) booted out after similar dire football, and the players kicked in after and won game after game with goal after goal flying in?

I reckon so

I think this will be the first thrilling game of the season and we'll see players with smiles on their faces again

Tough game to start...we will see..I would take a point..imo
