Popular Post Blue and white
Easy, play to Jordan Rhodes strengths, balls into the box, crosses into the box. Feed the Rhodes and he will score and Pulis knows this. 9 1

matthefish2002
Think Pulis works on the percentages. Get more crosses in and more set pieces which are practiced endlessly in training. Have a feeling Jordan Rhodes is not a Tony Pulis type striker as not really hard working. Jordan Rhodes must be in his last chance saloon now to do anything at Wednesday.
deano
Yes, balls in the box but it's just as important to get more players in the box.
TrickyTrev
If only we had a striker at the club with a proven track record of scoring goals at this level.... Holmowl
He said he’s not convinced Paterson is a striker at today’s press conference. We know Kachunga isn’t. Leaves Rhodes, Windass and Marriott.
Sambo89
Stop fannying about with floaty, halfarsed crosses. Whip em in hard n low, couple of lucky deflections with someone like Rhodes or Patterson or Windass ready to pounce.
sherlyegg
If you are just going to keep lobbing it in the box, you need several 'fit' strikers in the team. Got to get boddies in there every time. Or it's just wishful thinking
Swiss Toni
Don’t expect magic straight away. He will ensure we are tough to break down first. If we want to get crosses in would be good to have Bannan on the left.
The Night-Owl
If Pulis reverts Paterson back into midfield, we've a few decent attacking midfield options. If we can get more support up there, balls into the box with a solid defence and a more direct attack, and have a better balanced side playing to our strengths, then the chances and goals will come. More like what we had back when Lee; Bannan, Wallace and Forestieri, were at their best in Carlos' first season but mixed with the defensive solidity and grit of Carlos' second season, and the intensity and organisation of when Bruce was in charge. Over time Pulis will make us better organised and stronger at both ends of the pitch.
DeBilde'sTea
Insist Fletcher still plays for us (Donald Trump style) and count all his Stoke goals for us. P.s Fletch you're going bald, whats with the Alice band hair?
