He usually picks tacticly inteligent players who are great in transition play and give their all for 90 minutes.

We need a complete new squad then

Because I dont see one player who that appllies too

Once everyone is fit

                        Westwood

Palmer.         Iorfa.     Flint.     Penney

Harris.       Bannan.   Loungo.    Reach

                   Windass.  Rhodes

We definitely need a couple of fullbacks, a centre midfielder and a unit up top in January though

That’s the team I would pick. He may put Iorfa at RB and play Dunkley ( if he ever gets fit)

Yeah I wouldn’t mind Iorfa going back to right back tbh. Left back does concern me though. Penney and Odubajo aren’t the most convincing when needing to defend

Harris and JVA suspended.

I think Pulis will love Reach, Harris and Moses as WBs. Boundless energy and phenomenal work rate.

On Saturday, unless his VHS player is broken, he’ll start Rhodes and Windass. It’s impossible hes watched all 11 matches and not concluded it’s the least bad pairing.

I think any fit CB will start.

I think the formation will depend on whether Luongo and Brown are fit.

JVA is suspended?

Who I wonder are the 2 new injured players this week ?

I'm guessing Brown again is one of them possibly luongo still not ready

He said we had 4-5 out injured, so Dunkley, Flint and maybe Iorfa, Van Aken and Marriott.

I was wrong. JVA missed 3 games so he’s back now.

As for who’s injured I hope it’s defenders or forwards. Our CM is wafer thin.

With Harris still suspended, Westwood with the register problem/probably not being ready, Palmer and Paterson maybe not being ready after coming back on Thursday and Dunkley, Flint and maybe Iorfa, Van Aken and Marriott injured. I think 4-2-3-1:

 Wildsmith

Odubajo/Palmer?,  Lees,  Böner,  Penney

Luongo,  Bannan/Pelupessy/Brown?

Kachunga/Paterson?,  Brown/Bannan/Paterson?,  Reach

Rhodes

Bench:

Dawson

Palmer/Odubajo?

Urhoghide/Shaw?

Pelupessy/Brown?

FDB/Shaw?

Paterson/Kachunga?

Windass

I’ve a feeling, if we play 4 at the back, that Pulis may play Iorfa at right back. Not sure about Penney on the left - think he’d look to go with Palmer, but I think he could play a side very similar to the one suggested above.

Pretty much this I think once he’s got everyone fit,   He might have a dabble with Iorfa at right back once Dunkleys back fit

Fully expect another chance for Rhodes,  Harris will be a favourite for his running , Luongo for his defensive qualities in middle of park and really hoping TP can get Reach back in form

I’ve no idea who’s injured, fit, registered, suspended, back from international duty, self isolating.

One things for sure it’s going to be one of the more interesting line up announcements for a long time. And I will be paying to watch the game on ifollow to see the drama unfold.  UTO
