If there's there's any liquid at all left in that, it's going in his mouth.

Watched the highlights; we're starting to look like a top 6 PL club side now, with the players being so familiar with each other. Considering this was our first game after losing a major final, that shows some character, away from home, in a hostile atmosphere with no support.

Avoid defeat in Poland next week & we'll win the group easily.

Start a majority of our squad players on Sunday especially Bamford.

Hopefully a couple of novel away friendlies in March, followed by the Qatar WC draw in April.

A day out down the M1 again today. Loving that 27 mile stretch of roadworks at varying 50 & 60 mph limits.

Nice to see a bit of common sense with the 5pm ko time though. Should be back home by half 9 ish.

Also, lots of kids will be able to go & see some goals. Get the next generation involved.

How lucky are the young uns these days? Seen us in a WC semi-final and a EURO final in the space of 3 years!

We grew up on failure & penalty despair.  Onwards. ETID.

Bamford should get a hat-trick today. No excuses. It'll be like playing Frickley for him.

Actually just been looking at their results and they don't get hammered too often 3-4 is par, it's not often they concede more than that, 6 v Portugal a few years ago now

Pope

TAA

Stones

Mings

Trippier

Henderson

Bellingham

Lingard

Sancho

Kane

Saka

Bamford and Coady to come on after 50 mins or so for Kane and Stones who both need mins after hardly playing since the euros

Sancho injured

It was a disjointed performance which with the amount of changes wasn’t a surprise.

The performance picked up once Southgate made the three changes. Grealish in particular showed how important he is to this team going forward.

A point in Poland on Wednesday and that should be it as far as qualification is concerned.

I don’t get the Grealish hype. It seems everything that he does gets over stated as being some kind of world class piece of play, when in reality it’s usually something pretty big standard.

In the second half TTA made a great run down the right, a little step over and delivered a great a great ball into the box, never got a mention from Lee Dixon.

Grealish under hits a pass to Mount, who nearly makes something from it, and we’re treated to two replays of Grealish and a swooning appraisal from Dixon about his involvement.

He’s a good player, very one footed and lacking pace, but a good player. But far from best in an England shirt.

Bamford's never an international level player. Decent season last season for Leeds but he's got to do it time and time again, and he's not so far this season.

Grealish? Dunno really. Opponents seem to thing he's special but Sako can do the same. Even Lingard.

Until the penalty, we'd created very little goal mouth excitement. Everything was outside the box with no penetration.

Decent run-out for the 2nd string was all this game was about. Stronger 11 v. Poland, a result and qualification confirmed on Wednesday
