Plonk
Think this shows how far my interest in football has fallen. I don’t know who we are playing, if it’s started, how we are doing, and who is likely to get picked. 1

The only way is S6
Speculation about who will partner Kane. Hopefully Maguire wakes up after last nights shambles against Leicester.

Do San Marino still hold the record for the quickest international goal? Can't remember who the opposition was in that game, but they were crap. 1
The only way is S6
No point starting Kane tonight. Half a game v Albania then full 90 against Poland. All about the gd with these games. Less than 5 is poor.

I haven't really been following us since around 2017/18 and I haven't been following the PL etc. closely, so haven't really seen some players a lot/kinda at all, so don't laugh haha, but here is my team for San Marino (are we still playing 3-5-2 as well?): 4-2-3-1 Johnstone as it gives him a game etc. and we won't be tested much. Shaw as he's back and been playing good, if not Chilwell. Stones, same as Shaw, and Coady as I don't rate Dier (At best I would have him for CDM), Maguire and Mings (has he improved?) If so Mings/Stones then. James, same as Johnstone/he's young, if not Walker/Trippier. Rice? For some strength etc. in midfield. I didn't like him before, but he's improved? Foden? If not Ward-Prowse/Bellingham? Saka? He's left footed, if not Sterling/Rashford? Mount? If not Lingard/W-P/Bellingham? Lingard on the right or centrally? Same as Shaw/Stones, if not Sterling? Calvert-Lewin kinda same as James. Stones/Coady Captain? How did I do haha?

My first reaction was Southgate needs to be sacked.

The only way is S6
Pope should start in goal. Shaw deserves a start. Not my choice but Maguire seems undroppable. I’d put somebody new next to Stones. Rice as DM DCL upfront. Lingard on his current form. This is as useful as a friendly for the Euro’s so be a bit braver with selection.

Pope would be my number 1 for looking at/the Euro's, but (T-Rex arms haha) Pickford will be though.

We have previous with San Marino.

Mcguigan
U21's lose opening match in UEFA European Championships. In my opinion Boothroyd should have had the decency to resign after the fiasco in Italy two years ago but no, another on the FA gravy train. For now anyway. 1
owls maniac
Can someone please tell me why a bloke who was sacked by Northampton is currently managing our nation’s young talent? The FA- the most formidable old boys club in world sport.
