I'd love to know what % of people they have managed to refund so far.  I'd be amazed if it was more than 20% from the sounds of things.

Based on our group I reckon around half.

This seems to be quite a large sample size

There was a piece in the Sheffield Star today about refunds.

Basically they couldn't give a timeline when the refunds will be made, just that 'eventually' they will process them all.

It said that 8,000 had asked for the refund (which was 55% of all ST holders).

They thanked us for our patience. lol

I wonder how many of those 8000 will be buying another season ticket given the way they are being treated and what you actually get for your money "keep prices up to watch the best players"

Well that wasn't a bad guess was it!  Utterly ridiculous.  At this rate the last person on the list (probably my mrs) will not get their refund until the start of NEXT season.

Sure, if its in your contract. It aint.

Nearest secondary issue are ground rules which say no play, no pay (unless you entered ground and match abandoned).

I was meaning more on the grounds of it could be claimed that it isn't the club that have breached the contract, it is something out of their control.

I have had no refund or phone calls from the club on the unfinished season games from last season.

I also have a season ticket for this year and who knows what will happen with this.

If we can sell over the counter 40,000 tickets for the Cardiff play off in a week, why with better technology years later can we not refund just 8,000 season tickets holders?

Club stinks at minute and it will all end in tears.

So two weeks ago it was 17% had received and now it has gone down to 14.4%

The bit about it not being 100% accurate is probably the only thing worth taking from that post!

The club released a statement to that effect a few weeks ago.

Good to see the Star keeping on top of things as ever.

How can you have a pop at The Star for publishing the very latest the club is willing to tell our fans?

If they have published this as a rehash of old news, as the post I was replying to suggests, then they would have been better off publishing something to say that some fans have still not received their refunds and the club have not provided any official update since this statement was made some time ago.

Just read it, they have referred to the statement issued by the club last month, they quote this and it includes nothing new
