torryowl
good news, while a few have expressed concern on his style of management i'm sure we all agree that with his experience at the helm safety should be reached this season .......

If he does that he will regress and our most saleable asset will decrease in value IMO but I can see why you have said that.
theowlsman
I’m going to be right positive about him from tomorrow honest. He could be the best manager we never wanted.

Costello 77
If it stops mediocre teams coming to Hillsborough for an easy 3 then more power to the man. It's gone on too long. 4

Maybe no straight away but long term I think he will see him as full back when he realises he ain't all that as a striker. And he tick alot of his boxes as a right back. Also if you need a goal you can shove the right back upfront and save a sub.

WalthamOwl
Will be nice to be that horrible team that opponents hate playing against, Pulis will need to bring players in to play that way though imo. I’m sick and tired of us rolling over for teams.

graz gp
It can't be any worse than Monk's rubbish teams. We might score a few goals that would be a change. I just hope he can win a few games early on or it will be carnage on here. uto
bobowl
Mr Chansiri said it's all the players fault, perhaps he has appointed someone he knows they will hate as payback.

FightLikeAGirl
Meh. I can't pretend I'm thrilled about this appointment, but he could well be what we need now. Everton did it with Allardyce. He's here to grind out results and get us up the table. At least I'm not going to be at Hillsborough this season to have the pants bored off me by Pulis football, but then the Wigan game I saw when Monk was in charge was a snorefest too.
Harrysgame
Ok probably not my first choice but an experienced manager is what we need. Time to just back him and the club. Some of the comments on this thread are just embarrassing, we look like a load of whiners and idiots. All those crying out for Pearson etc, really can see why he says that could never manages us, after a few weeks all the idiots would be marching on his house, giving him abuse when out with family etc. We're bottom of the Chmpionship, not exactly a bid draw for decent mangers. Give him a chance eh!
Ozymandias
The only positive I can think of is that he can’t possibly fizz things up any more than Monk, can he?
