He lost the court case, was found to have told porkies and it cost him financially. But there were no criminal charges against him. What gets lost in the Palace scenario, He achieved the target set to him of keeping Palace in the Premier league to even qualify for the £2 million. On style of football alone he wouldn’t be my choice. On his management record he is by far the best we could hope for. I personally will judge him on what he achieves or doesn’t achieve on the pitch at S6 and not on what has happened off the pitch at other clubs.
