Who will the club appoint now Garry Monk has gone?

Recommended Posts

We need to appoint for the long term for stability, entertainment and to get the fans together.

I’d love to see Ryan Lowe and give him time, but don’t see DC doing it. Last twice, he’s gone for a manager with Championship experience, what the fans asked for, that’s why I think it will be ..... Lee Johnson. Not necessarily my first choice!

Club statement says terminated the contract of Monk and his staff. Utterly stupid to appoint 3 new members of staff only weeks ago.

Here comes Bully to save the day!!

The fact we haven’t announced an interim manager indicates to me we are making an appointment ASAP. Daft as it sounds, it could be tonight.

Absolutely prime for this job

Loves the club

HUGE passion

Attacking brand of football

Done great in lower leagues - 50% win rate

He could be the our Wilder than we need to rejuvenate this club - he’s experienced promotion with us and success

GET HIM IN DC!

First day of an international break is the ideal time to sack a manager as next guy gets the most time before their first match. DC will have been planning this since Rotherham and I’d be amazed if there wasn’t an announcement tomorrow.

If not after Rotherham then certainly after Wycombe, decision obviously made irrespective of what happened in Bournemouth / Millwall games.

100% believe Paul Cook is right manager for us and ideal candidate.....step forward random coach from abroad

Would absolutely love Nigel Pearson here. He’d immediately get the respect of the players and a feel good factor amongst the fans

Would be amazed if Chansiri wanted him anywhere near our club.

Exactly...lower leagues. Even then it's only 50% at his current club

Do we really want to risk it on someone when we are fighting for relegation?
