areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Pre-Bournemouth: Now: Of course nobody should be getting carried away or labouring under any illusions that everything is suddenly rosy in the Wednesday garden, but as a fan simply looking at the league table and hoping your club stands a fighting chance of staying up this season, how much better does that look than it did 48 hours ago? With minus twelve, it was always going to be a long, hard season and even if we were doing well we may not have escaped the bottom three until well after Christmas. Psychologically, it may have started to take its toll, and it appeared it already was on some Owlstalkers, who wanted us out of the bottom three before December rolled around seemingly for their own peace of mind more than anything else. It goes without saying that we still have a long season ahead of us and we're likely to be involved in a relegation scrap for some time yet, but Christ - how much better does it feel to look at the table as it currently stands rather than the bleak outlook we faced just two days ago?

Back to back wins beckon at Home, time to look forward to games and embrace the challenges ahead. Millwall haven't won at Hillsborough in 6 visits. We have scored at least twice in 4 of those 6. You do realise you're talking about Sheffield Wednesday here don't you, it's in our DNA to end another teams/players bad run of form.
wakefieldowl
Those tables speak volumes...such a difference... Kew Owl
Millwall are going to be tough to beat - they defended very well at Norwich midweek by all accounts - but we need a good performance and 3 points to keep the momentum going. sMacLean
No excuses now for Monk though. If we can't finish above Wycombe, Coventry and Rotherham from here there is something seriously wrong.

striker
Absolutely, all of a sudden we are in the pack, Millwall becomes a winnable game and could go into the international break outside the relegation zone. Of course it's very Wednesday like to fizz it up, but for 24 hours dare to dream.

I strongly believe we will easily beat our relegation battle. The more interesting relegation battle is between the piggies and man.ure.
