@owlstalk
Steve Bruce was named as Owls manager in January 2019, but didn’t take charge until February. Chansiri continued, atonishingly claiming he did not want to appoint Bruce in the first place. “He wanted to come. I told him ‘I don’t like your style’, you can’t finish my job. 7 Owlstalk Shop
RockieOwl
All this interview has told me is that after 6 years, Chansiri still needs to learn what is needed to be a successful chairman 3 2

@owlstalk
I can't be bothered to do it but if anyone wants to put together a list of MASSIVE MASSIVE contradictions between what Chansiri has said in this interview, what he's said in the past, what he's done then go for it - should be a lonnnnnnng list 1 1 Owlstalk Shop

Sorry, thats not how it works and theres plenty of evidence at other clubs to prove thats not how it works. Someone posted the comparison with Dave Allen earlier which is frightening. I am far from anti-Chansiri but this press conference is just another way of having a go at the fans (and others) He hasn't said that, what he had said is that criticism needs to be constructive. There is a big difference from constructive criticism to vitriol and insult's aimed at club and owner 4 1

SallyCinnamon
Expected nothing less. Oh for a CEO to do the talking for him and let DC take a backseat. It will be less hassle for him and less hassle for us.
@owlstalk
Was interesting on Twitter during that interview At the start people were proper brown nosing the chairman saying how great it was what he was saying, how open he was being, how bang on he was in what he was saying As the interview went on more and more of them stopped tweeting By the end not one of them were still tweeting anything at all 3 Owlstalk Shop

wmb
I've generally leaned to being a supporter of the chairman but for most of this interview he has come across as unhinged and seems to be on the same spectrum as a certain fat orange president. 2 1

This is nonsense if you ask me. He can do so many things to give his football club the best chance of success. I expect what he means is in other business I can chuck as much money as I want without restriction at making problems go away. It's all about having the right model, the right non-footballing staff and the right strategy to give best chance of success, something that employees, fans and all stakeholders can understand and buy in to. All we seem to have is is the odd forum or 'interview' full of bluster, promises, blame and hindsight. That is what rubs people up the wrong way. 1
