Sorry, can we be absolutely crystal clear here:

According to Dejphon Chansiri, negative Wednesday fans on the internet cost the club anywhere between £10,000,000 and £999,999,999 in revenue via sponsorship.

Have I got that right? lol

That’s what he’s just said apparently. I do all my business due diligence by checking social media at the last minute. 🙄

If that IS the case it's a direct result of how he's run the club and what's happened as a result

100% correct.

He still doesn’t grasp that a football club isn’t like any other business.

If he’d done a bit more of today then maybe there wouldn’t be as much negativity and suspicion.

DC on Monk: "At the moment, he is still here. I always back my coach 100 per cent all the time. "He knows what he needs to do from the start of his job."

Key part of this is "at the moment". To me this says he is not happy with Monk. Could be in the process of sounding out replacements.

Why he's not sacked Monk

You can’t mix two seasons together.

I always say to the media and all the fans is it is easy to make a decision without responsibility.

It’s easy to say ‘not good, sack’ - some managers have gone to other clubs and not been a success.

It’s easy to sack the manager but sometimes it is not 100 per cent the manager’s fault.

For me on the pitch, it is more the fault of the players. On the pitch, the manager can’t do anything.

Disagree to an extent. The players don’t choose to sit deep and play long diagonal balls . The players don’t choose to bring certain players off the bench. Manager picks the tactics and players, which has a massive effect on the results. This is chansiri not understanding football imo

I don’t know. My people tell me that many fans want me to leave.

If you ask me, I don’t have the intention to sell.

If the fans want me to leave and to buy me out, I will sell for them.

I don’t mind. I know what I’m doing.

The only significant portion was the 2.5m loan note repayment to Dave Allen.

When MM bought the club it was restructured to with an immediate  0.75m payment to DA as part of the sale of shares, and a further 0.75m repayable upon promotion to the Premier League

As far a I'm aware that agreement still exists, but as above its only 750k now.

Thanks for that clarification

Can't be that then

Sadly it is. All businesses that have a public presence ( or desire one) are protective of their brand. That is a reality.

We have far too many negative people that declare their support for the club but have an agenda to knock at every single opportunity.

That is a reality

So just like every otjer club in world football then??

That's just common sense. Very little is permanent.

To me, this is a good example of showing that he has actually learnt some stuff about running a club in the last few years.

I can already see the star headlines later..

Wednesday fans moaning and negativity cost club just shy of a billion pound sponsorship according to DC.

I have lost a lot of money.

I am happy if the fans want to buy some shares. I will step back.

I want to know how you can manage.

I don’t know how long I am going to stay.

If I can stay all my life, I will stay.

But I can’t say what I’m going to do in the future.

I try to do my best for the club but I can’t do it by myself. I will try as much as I can.
