However the rules weren't in place until after we broke the rules. I'm sure it was end of 2018 the guidelines for points deduction was released which was after we broke the rules in August 2018. I seem to remember with Macclesfield last year the club appealed a deduction, an independent panel decided but then the EFL appealed themselves and got it changed.
