BREAKING NEWS - Chansiri to speak to the media on Thursday

Recommended Posts

I’d love you to be wrong but despite the current feelings of the vast number of supporters I also believe it will be ‘business as usual - we are a family and we’ll stick together etc, etc’

We can only live in hope that there are some very important announcements he wants to use the national and local media to announce.

Perhaps Monk told him to front up for a change.

To be fair to Monk he’s had to be in front of the media during the whole points deduction thing, which is something he had no part in causing. It’s about time we heard something from Chansiri, and I hope he doesn’t go on the defensive. Need honest answers and some understanding as to the direction we’re heading as a club.

reading the way the press announcement reads he is merely making himself available to be interviewed, probably as a result for all the calls for him to say something and accusations of him hiding and not caring.

My best guess would be

  • I am here and will always be here to answer your questions
  • Fans need to be patient and get behind the team
  • GM is going nowhere, he needs to be given time
  • Stop illegal streaming
  • People demanding refunds are harming the club
  • Be true fans and continue to support the club and contribute financially
  • Don't expect refunds for this season
  • We expect to win the appeal
  • and some blah blah blah

The only interesting things are

  • If there is an invite to the National Press it could suggest more
  • Why no Presser?
  • What will hapen tonight

Interesting few days ahead maybe, but expecting no change really

Could be to announce that cans of Elev8 will be on sale at Morrisons from Friday and there’s a new D Taxi rank available in Pond Street.

But my guess is that it will be related to the appeal and depending on how it’s gone will define his next move. If we’ve lost it I think he’ll try to sell up.

Spend £1,000 in the club shop between now and Christmas, and get a free meet and greet with Carlton Palmer, plus a 40 year season ticket!

Take out the Palmer meet me greet and I’d go for that.
