I think to be safe this season, we will need to finish on  45+pts. I think this season relegation battle is weaker than last season. We have 37 games left, I KNOW times are tough at the moment, but nothing is won or lost in the first 9 games of the season. 

So, the question is: Which manager out there who will come to Wednesday, can get us at least 49points out of 37 games if Monk was to be sacked?

 

We are down, no doubt. For us to achieve that we need a win percentage of nearly 50%. No manager in the world is going to come in and get that from this squad.

Not a problem. At our current ppg ratio i make it we only need another 54 games to achieve that. Its in the bag.

 

Cant we just forfeit all remaining games now and start focusing on next season.

Good point and shows the almost impossible situation any manager would face if Monk was sacked.

Did you forget about the -4 that to me is a minimum of 55 ideally (51 total) in the last 37 games!
