Don't get upset mate ... you're getting the action you hoped for ... 5 pages already

Be happy with the traffic

lol

Not about the traffic - never is - don't need it

Now - how's about discussing the topic and that we signed a player with a leg broken in  two places?

This Dunkley wouldn’t get in the side anyway in a 4-4-2 (which we should be playing). Not ahead of Iorfa, Flint or Lees. So we’re missing a squad filling crock and that’s the reason he’s not being backed. Right...

Ah ok so it's fine to sign him then?

That's fine with you?

It's ok with you that he passed a medical?

Okayyyyyy then

Christ almighty

2020 - the year when Wednesday fans condone the signing of a player with a leg broken in two places and more metal in his leg than in a skipyard

I don’t condone it. We wouldn’t ever get a sniff of signing a fully fit Dunkley. He’s one signing, a gamble, we’ve got first team players starting who’d never kicked a ball in anger in professional football, they are gambles too.

Btw of course he chose the players, its foolish to believe otherwise.

It isn't the players fault though. It's the tactics.

Monk has been backed, they are his players, and I don't think any of them are bad players for the money spent.

Similar story to Jos. He brings in Joey Pellupessy. He's not a bad player for the money spent, but the tactics of Jos and Monk are dire. Neither have no effective attacking outcome.

There are teams in this league who manage to score goals without a Fernando Foresteri or Anthony Knockaert. Just look at Wycombe and Luton in the last two games. They always looked like creating chances.

On the Dunkley point if Monk wasn't involved why did he thank him for his part in the transfer ?

Eh?

Do you know how PR/Media works?

The manager's tend not to go  to the press and say 'this is a TERRIBLE signing - his leg is broken in two places!!!"

Getting a proven championship manager in, whatever the cost, would be the best investment he could ever make.

I've said repeatedly that the most important priority for spending is on the manager because

A) they are still cheaper than the good players

B) they have the most influence on the team.

Well depends what the medical team said and the cost involved so can work out the risk. Not privy to either of those pieces of information.

Just think that it’s irrelevant because he’s a back up player and wouldn’t make a difference.

Im more concerned with why we haven’t signed a left back, a target man, and why we resigned Pelupessy in midfield and are left with no adequate centre mid back ups, nor proven goalscorer (Rhodes aside)

You do realise he was signed to be captain of Sheffield Wednesday though right?

Yep

When Dunkley hopped into the ground, with his legs setting off the metal detectors, that was clear evidence we'd given Garry Monk TOO much backing

Why do you continually defend the indefensible? Record shows he is the worst manager in our history

The topic covers all the signings , you seem to be sticking to one. I think it very unlikely Monk had no involvement in the recruitment of any of them.
