Iorfa, Brown and Luongo

With these guys starting we are a very good team, no doubt.

I don't think we are very good, we're just competitive with these players in the side. Mid table at best. They won't stay fit all season though so we're pretty much screwed.

If we are  placing everything on the fitness of Brown and Luongo then we are done for. We’ll get a maximum, at best, 18-20 games from them both.

These 2 players don’t make us a ‘very good’ team I’m afraid.

Yeh they are croks unfortunately for us.

Brown’s injury history is dreadful.

Not Luongo though. Last season was his first bad one.

So much for Monk wanting players that can play 40 games a season.

Signs Brown, knows about Luongo fitness issues yet decides to sign a center back with a broken leg rather than another central midfilder.

Just one of long line of Monks failings!

Signing a one legged centre half takes some beating lol

Luongo was never a sick note before us , so very frustrating, iorfa generally fit too so let’s hope once they are back (surely it’s midweek or Wycombe at latest ) they start back . As for Izzy unfortunately seems very injury prone so may see spells where’s he’s unavailable unfortunately

Brown and iorfa fit for wednesday night been saving them for this game

Great, chuck them in against a physical side in a derby match which will make it even more physical. If it happens expect them both to be out for the next 3 months unless we get very lucky!

We aren’t a very good side without them. We are just a bit better. Every club has injuries and you need to be able to cope with it.

We signed Brown knowing he’s had a bad injury record over the past few seasons, so it’s not a surprise. Luongo missed chunks of last season for us, so again it’s not a shock to the management that he picks up injuries.

No excuses this season please.

I imagine that’s why QPR sold him to us. On ability he’d still be in their side. They probably knew he was starting to pick up injuries and decided to cash in while they could.

Can’t help but feel our season and championship survival (under Monk) is dependent on their fitness

Oh boy it’s gonna be a long season....

Maybe that’s why the manager brought them in and the Chairman paid for them?

That they all are injured at the same time is just bad luck.

Luongo the following week was the killer blow, but that was nothing to do with the Manager or the Chairman!

Obviously!
