Popular Post meggoisgod
Sits too deep, creates very little, gets that ball all the time meaning we are slow and predictable. Strikers are 60 yards upfield and isolated. Not athletic enough Doesn't score enough goals Leaves us exposed defensively We havent really had that fresh start. He should have gone with his mate fletcher. Unacceptable all round today nobody is without blame 15

Plonk
Man of the match for me today. Only flint Bannan and VA ( until his moment of madness) come out of that with any credit 4

TrickyTrev
Yes we should get rid of Bannan, then we could’ve played Reach, Pelupessey and Hunt in midfield instead.
Thurcroft owl 72
Love bannan but he isn't what we need how we play. How monk sets us up we should have cashed in. 1

horny owl
Barry Bannan is by far our best player who’s playing with mediocre players in a sh!te system

Nuhui on his own would have been a bigger threat than that lot.
BIG D
Bannan used to look up and have Forestieri, Hooper, Lee, Wallace etc making runs and giving him options. He knew the ball would stick or he would get the ball back. We have no one anywhere near their quality these days. He’s the very least of ours problems and we’re lucky he’s still here.

Need another midfielder further upfield who can set strikers up

should know better
You will be lucky to find a team that will pay anything for him once they watch him and not read the hype. Slows play down not confident at sliding balls through prefers turning and floating the ball allowing the opposition to get behind the ball. I know his supporters will say the pundits will say he is quality, they are the same pundits that acknowledge Rhodes is the best ever championship striker and will score if you give him half a chance. No serious offers again we are stuck with a defensive midfielder who cannot be bothered to track runners and if he does like with Toney in midweek he lets them score. He also contributed to todays sending off. 2 1

edwinowl
Bannan is a good player. He is not the problem. However everything goes through him. Opposition Managers have sussed this out. It’s not rocket science. Until something changes things will remain the same. We are so predictable.
