Popular Post Holmowl
...and yet we pushed a very strong Brentford really hard. They had far more quality than we had on the pitch. Our defence and midfield were decimated. Yet we competed strongly and were always in the game. Bodes really well. I feel very encouraged by tonight. 30 2
TodwickOwl
Our midfield is so thin and we have two notoriously injured players out - Brown and Luongo I fear if we have a midfield like that all season
WalthamOwl
Need some of the injured lads back ASAP. Sounds like Luongo could be out for a bit though from what Monk said.
SallyCinnamon
The issue is I can see Luongo and Brown being in and out of the team all season. They both pick up injuries.

BarnsleyOwl96
Sounds positive on iorfa / Lees and brown let’s hope they can all make the Luton game , or at least 2 of the 3 would be good
BRADDO
All 4 players are a huge loss to the side. It's going to be a tough season.
striker
All big misses, Iorfa and Luongo in particular. Don't think their absence excuses results like tonight, but are mitigating factors.

Does that mean back training with the first team or just back running etc?
McRightSide
I agree with the OP - as I often do. I’m not unhappy tonight at all I’m frustrated that yet again we are talking about inadequate goalkeeping and baffling subs. With a proper keeper and more thoughtful substitutions I think we could have even won that 1

Kachunga and Rhodes are just bodies, don’t really think they offer much to change a game.

They're widely tipped as promotion favourites and easily among the best teams in this division. Our fate won't be decided in games such as this. Whatever the question is, the answer is not Rhodes Especially not at the moment where we just started to get a grip in the game
Hack-Abusi
Needed another experienced central midfielder brought in regardless of age .. crying out for someone like Adam Clayton or similar
modboy
Someone mentioned Jackson Irvine doesn't have a club at the moment. Surely a deal the to end of the season would appeal to all?

Elvin Parsnip
Surely Joey was given a new contract to fill in for Massimo when needed - putting Hunt in against a team like Brentford is just odd - glad he saw what surely everyone else was seeing and brought JP on
