Pelupessy made a difference when he came on

No intended disrespect to Hunt but maybe Pelupessy ought to have been brought on in the first half when it became apparent that the game was passing Hunt by. I thought that Pelupessy was one of the few positives tonight.

Agreed that's why we got back in the game for the first 25 mins of the second half...after that they stopped trying to get forward quickly and held on to the ball

If he's a positive then God help us.

Can’t believe he started Hunt

He’s looked so out of his depth in most games he’s played

He's good at pointing though. He does it a lot.

It was unfortunate that Luongo was missing tonight.  He plugs the hole in the middle that was there for the first half.  Pelupessy did well when he came on but either he or Deli-Bashiru should have been employed in that area for the whole game.

Agree with that, what does it say about Joey though?

Yet some would happily have waved Bannan off because we have got Hunt to come in and is ready to do so now!

Bannan instrumental in the build up to our goal again, as he has been in all our league goal except for the first one.

Pelupessy helped us be more compact without the ball today, but to back bringing him on with bringing on Dele Bashiru for Windass was a bit negative when we needed a goal.

Agree

JP for Hunt worked

I cannot fathom the other two changes at all

Monk is soooo bad at subs

Pelupessy was the obvious replacement for Luongo.

Can only pass short and sideways but he does put himself about tackled well

Blinding obvious after what Loungo was asked to do in the last game, and the success of that role.

Any way, it's what Wednesday do best in big games on Sky. New experimental line ups and formations.

Sheffield Wednesday. The team who refuse to be defined. (New marketing tag line for Elev8te)

I wouldn’t go that far, but it needed a tackler in there.

Luongo has turned out to be really good in that role, but we’ve needed cover for Hutchinson (when he was playing) since Lopez left.
