'The keeper parries it'

And he’s 5 years younger than Dawson.

How many keepers improve significantly after age 25?

Well this is my point

Given that he’s relatively young for a first choice Championship goalkeeper, it suggests there is still some room for development

But he needs to shape up quickly

I do love the idea that from a shot hit at 60mph the keeper can fully control where he parries it in the 0.2s he has to react.  Not Bannan's fault for standing like a statue instead of tracking his man.  No no, hang the keeper out to dry.

never a  case of full control.

a good goalkeeper angles his wrist to parry a shot into safe zones

Exactly, it showed said highlights before the start of last nights game. Dawson was awful in that game too.

You just need to look at this season, at least 3 or 4 of the saves he have made he’s pushed straight back into danger and got lucky

All it took was a team to identify that and play for it

Anybody who can't see that Dawson is a liability needs to check their glasses.

Fans have been saying it for 2 years now, the kid costs us points in almost every game.

He might have 1 decent game in 5 and all the Dawson fan girls come out in force telling us that he is great.

He isn't and he doesn't look like he is improving at all, we can't afford to have a liability in that position and hope for the best.

It’s a huge concern that other clubs have picked up on something a lot on here have been saying for quite a while.

He did something similar in the game Griffin park where he parries a shot from out wide with 2 hands straight out to a Brentford player.

I don’t even think we have an adequate back up in Wildsmith.

Quite a few below par performances last night and yes Dawson was one of them. Imo we needed and still do need a new number one signing, he will cost us to many points we can’t afford to drop this season. Brentford are a top team but the goals we gifted them where shocking.

Also how often do the opposition have a shot on goal and he doesn't even attempt to save it, just stands still and watches it flash past him. They had a few tonight that were close but no reaction form CD and the 2nd goal.

Criricising a keeper for not saving shots that are going wide......only on Owlstalk

. He playing in goal in the Championship and by the standards at this level, that was poor.

Really?.....have you seen last nights games?

Watford, Bournemouth and Barnsley all conceded goals that had they been scored past Dawson would have some on here out with the pitch folks
