Go back a couple of years and he'd find himself in the same positions but 9 times out of 10 he'd have a shot and produce some absolute screamers! Why isn't he taking on these shots anymore? I agree that if he could guarantee goals like that every week then he'd be nowhere near us, but he doesn't even attempt to shoot from those positions anymore and usually we lose the ball from him taking one too many touches or the pass goes backwards. Years of building, selling, scouting, developing all coming to fruition. Can't put the blame on any one player for us tonight. Saying that, I don't think Wednesday did much wrong, just that extra bit of class and muscle that we don't have.
