daveyboy66
Brentford are screening their match with Stoke City on Saturday at their new stadium...The live screening will take place in one of our lounges at our stadium on Saturday 24 October (doors open at 1.30pm). Tickets are available for £40 Adults and £30 Juniors (Under-18). Is this something we could do if we get out of Tier 3 lockdown ?

Plonk
£40 to watch a game on the telly! Saw that chessie were showing their home games. Had to keep the curtains closed so you can’t watch it live but ok to watch it on the telly in the lounge? Madness 1

Blatter
I think watching tv in a lounge with other fans might just contravene the rule of 6 and the mixing of households indoors.
Big Jack
Its either live football or stay at home, madness in the extreme.
Mister Soul
Surely there is less risk if people watch the real game (socially distanced ) in the stadium than in an enclosed area on tv in an exec box or on a concourse? Or am I missing something?

jp1981
It is mad, when I'm watching the Champ League game between Salzburg and Locomotiv Moscow and there are fans in the stadium watching the match live in person.
morganowl
if everyone is happy paying £15 to watch games on tv pay per view , and paying £40 to watch on tv with a beer then getting supporters back into grounds will suddenly become very unimportant for most clubs . without fans football is nothing. Apparently the staff and police thought it a bit strange that they were all from the same household. Nice try but they all got fined anyway.
