That doesn’t justify anything

What a nothing article

Examinerlive articles always seem like one big click-bait title followed by 3-4 paragraphs that have nothing in common and voila, there's your story... shoddy "journalism" that seems more and more like it's automated "news" publishing.

The headline doesn't really match the article, as far as I can see.

There's one solitary mention of Westwood in the article itself, yet he features in the headline and the accompanying image.

I'm not sure why an article which is fundamentally about the impressive start Dawson has made to the season needs framing in that way.

Seems a bit odd.

Anyway, Dawson has looked pretty assured so far and must be delighted with the start he's made. Hopefully he'll grow in confidence as the season progresses and start to truly fulfil the potential he undoubtedly has.

Did Neil write it?

Whatever your feeling are regarding the merits of Keiren Westwood in terms of ability - our club gave him a new 2 year contract in the summer of 2019. By the time that contract ends in 2021 he is likely to have spent 3 quarters of that getting paid for what appears to be very little if any involvement. Paid probably more than most 1st team players currently in the squad are earning and the club have not been able to move him on.

Whatever your views are regarding who is at fault, it is difficult to justify that stance being a good one.
