When will the hearing take place?

Don’t think they can reduce the tariff. The whole case will surely be around whether -12 could even be deducted seasons later.

I'd imagine that we will try to challenge the -12 on the grounds that the Sanctioning Guidelines, that put figures to the existing sweeping (but unquantified) sanctioning powers of an IDC, weren't in place at the time. Can't see it succeeding but fingers crossed.

Or if you have dealt legally with any large organisation everything runs at a snails pace and both sides do nothing to speed up the process.

This has got finish before season ends otherwise penalty could not be applied this season. Also if we win will EFL take it any further or if we lose will we go to High Court. Hence a need to get skates on.

They applied rules that weren’t in place, and also applied the sanction in a manner contrary to the rules. This is why I am confident we can win this

Also Birmingham broke ffp and only got hit with a 9pt deduction. Then proceed to spit in the face of the league's transfer restrictions and buy a player in Jan for X million when they needed to sell a player.

One rule for then and another for us.

Be great if it was reduced to 6.

We would be out of the bottom 3 with another win and confidence would be sky high amongst the lads.

Playoff push wouldn't be unrealistic playing like we did yesterday.

If we are above 0 by Saturday tea time I still don't think the play offs is unrealistic. It's a very poor league this year. No stand out teams.

Indeed but the points deduction is based on how far over the £39m limit you go without the sale of the stadium we nearly double the losses limits hence the -12 points deduction.

Since Birmingham's points deduction they have brought in over £50m in player sales and also reduce their out going in line with the EFL.

We on the other hand still have not file the 2018/19 season financial statements, these are now nearly 4 months overdue after companies house gave us a 3 months extension.

We won't win an appeal, we need to take our medicine and move on, all that these appeals do is distract the team, we are eating into the point deduction and something tonight against Brentford and a win at the weekend and we are back to zero.
