Bit of a radical idea this, but bear with me...

If we’re starting with two centre halves, why not play a formation which uses... wait for it... two centre halves?

He could have.

Not sure we have two good enough full backs available but what the heck .

Odubajo is a decent Championship player, yes, he's had a poor start with obvious errors, let's not write him off though.

Just saying 'hopeless Harris' tells me you aren't fully sure of what you are talking about.

harris has been awful for last 12months cannot cross a ball cant score a goal , he cuts in and defenders all know he does that , he is a headless chicken , odubajo is a wing back , defo not a centre half . harris from aug last season till october was really good i doubt many are raving about him since.

Agreed, we could’ve done with a more defensively minded left back coming in to replace Fox... but still, Reach/Harris and Odubajo are closer to full backs than Luongo will ever be to a centre half

So that probably means Bannan, Reach and Windass as the midfield 3?

Good luck to the defence today!

WTF

I don’t like to be critical of selection until after a match. However...

Flint, a CB known for being quite slow playing RCB. Knowing he’s going to getting pulled out wide against Bela.

Luongo, our only midfielder with a bit of bite. Who is also 5ft 9... is playing middle CB.

Adam Reach playing CM when he was fantastic playing LWB last time out. While Dele-Bashiru is left on the bench a natural CM.

Kachunga, a proven winger at this level starts upfront over Marriott and Rhodes.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Madness or tactical genius?

God is he really only 5ft9?

I always thought he was like 5ft11 but maybe it's just because he usually next to Bannan :duntmatter:

Why wouldn’t he ? Borner has been atrocious and Moses has look okay there

Moses has looked OK at CB? What for 45 minutes against a limp attack? He is not a CB.
