Alan Robinson
Became something of a fan’s favourite at AG largely for the interviews he did. He’s quite an amusing guy. However.......Flint is a throwback to the 70s style of ‘head it and kick it’ stopper with limited footballing skills. His strengths are his build and height. He’ll get you the occasional goal tho. He’s a real nuisance at set plays but don’t except any silky skills............... Given his limited skills he’s done pretty well financially with his various signing on fees
Pressman 1
As long as he is solid, and chips in with a few goals who cares

daveyboy66
We wouldn't have conceded at the death against QPR if he'd been playing
Ellis Rimmer
I don't mind that he's terrible on the ball as that means we are less likely to attempt playing it out from the back which I hate and feel is the emporers new clothes of footballing tactics.

N0rtherner
Just the kind of no nonsense defender you want in centre half. Get rid of the ball in dangerous situations, being big and solid you can muscle off opposition players in duels and disrupt their chances. I bet he can pass the ball at least so we can drive down the flanks... or at least tap it to Bannan who is more or less down beside him anyway
owlinexile
If only we could somehow merge him with JVA into some kind of actually good all-round centre-back.

Made Flint look like stone scoring our injury time winner in the 3-2 come-back a few seasons back. Edited October 17, 2020 by Holmowl
