Further bids just been turned down in the last few hours for Barry Bannan - believed to have been around the 1.5 million mark

Brentford are one of the clubs to have bid, having had previous bids turned down this week

Wednesday are trying hard to keep the door slammed shut on this one but more bids could come in today

Even in the last year of his contract, and considering his importance for us, they must be high as a kite to offer £1.5m. Like sheer stupidity

I don’t understand that view at all.

A midfield fulcrum that will be fit and first-pick close on 40 full games in a season. Even at 31 in December he’s worth more than £1.5m. That would be an absolute steel.

No wonder it got turned down, if the only bids we've had are around 1.5m we should be safe.

Worth well more than that. Clowns.

There selling that Bendover fella or whatever hes called to west ham, then we need at least 50 million for Bannan.

One plus from Chansiri...he won't sell players for peanuts.

Unfortunately sometimes he just won't sell players.

Year left, in today's market and considering his age I would say no less than 3 million.

Which is still cheap for a player of his ability.

1.5 million will make sod all difference to our books and we lose our best player. Sod that.

No, not at that price.

£3m absolute minimum with all the dosh they have had coming in lately

this it ehe thing, they are absolutely flush right now, so if they want him, make them pay the same over inflated price that they have been charging other clubs for their players.

£3m-5m then let him go.

£1m-£2m then keep him on.

Only works if the players are deemed to be worth an over inflated price.

Younger players who have proven to be good and can still possibly develop further then yes.

If Brentford need him they have to push boat out. As an example look at Wilson from Liverpool they want £3m for season to loan him out. Some may say improvement on Bannan but considering situation the figures Brentford have bid are insults to his importance to us as a team.

We have to get replacement and current options pronbably would cost us more at this stage than they are offering us.

Benrama they have just got £25 m for him. I personally do not think will be a success in PL but if the want replacement have to pay for him and that is hefty figure at this point in season
