Only just found out we don't have a match tomorrow

I've struggled to find interest in a lot of football for a couple of seasons now - When you can place a bet on a defender to make two tackles in a game, and get a decent return, that suggests to me the game is no longer exciting. Same applies on strikers, decent odds for a main striker to have 2 shots on target? Not even score, just hit the target, suggests the game as a whole lacks entertainment.

International football is a whole different level - I'd rather they just did little qualifying tournaments, during the summers when the world cup or Euros isnt on

Don't get it and never did, champ. clubs in England stop playing league football for two weeks, cos England are playing Wales in a friendly.

..kin nuts.

All should carry on as normal even the prem, if a team is full of foreigners, and they all need to go and play in an international...tough shyte...

Exactly, then they complain of fixture pile up later in the season.

Just leave the game alone, get the feeling some bigwig somewhere is trying to justify their jobs with stupid ideas.  VAR being the pinnacle of their stupidity.

Was just sat at my desk and wondered who we were playing tomorrow, googled it and - I think its an indication of just how much the enforced absence from football is affecting interest levels that I had no idea it was the international break, and I had no idea England played last night.

I'm off to Cheshire on Sunday to watch Swallownest in the FA VAse though. Its great to be travelling to away grounds again.

Is it just me - or is anyone else no longer fully up to date with fixtures? (Apparently its Birmingham next week. (AWAY)

I remember you goin through a swallow nest phase a few years ago..it dint last long tho

I already hated international breaks.  It's unconscionable to still have them with the current state of world affairs.

Capitalist money grab for the biggest scum, parading behind the ugly spectre of cheap nationalism (playing for country).  Barf.

Let me finish that off for you: "Here endeth the sermon. May the love of our Lord jesus Christ, the peace of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you and remain with you now and always." 😄
