Just don't see the point of it. We learnt that Garry Monk can be an amiable kind of bloke, we didn't learn anything about why he hasn't been able to manage our football team effectively for the best part of a year. In fact, I wanted Monk and believed that he'd been unfairly dismissed at Leeds. The constraints you list would apply to any manager, not just Monk. I just think that he's the wrong manager for us as we currently are. I'm not saying that he should be sacked after 4 games, even though I think he should have gone in the summer. But clearly if we continue to get bob results and concede deep into injury time on a regular basis, then it's either Monk or the club's Championship status. sheriwozgod Posted October 10, 2020 Share Posted October 10, 2020 There was a thread before the season started asking what one thing you wanted to see happen this season. I said that after 12 months in charge i wanted Monk to give us some kind of identity and develop a style of attacking front foot football that we could all get behind.. Still yet to see it....I`m trying to be patient as he has only recently got his own staff involved but a clear improvement in our overall play is essential over the next few months no matter how hamstrung he is.
