I'm gonna have a stab at this one

Chansiri has sold the stadium to another company owned by himself

He's now looking to get finance/loans by saying if he fails to pay the money back the company loaning the money can take Hillsborough off him

I think

cheers mate 👌🏻

Hang on a minute

Just realised

Chansiri looking for finance?

I THOUGHT HE WAS LOADED AND IT WAS ONLY THE FFP/EFL STOPPING HIM FROM SPENDING HIS GAZILLIONS????

Yes. So loaded that he paid for the club in instalments over 2 years.

Now he is looking to pawn the stadium.

Well, that's two birds with one stone isn't it?

First that Chansiri was now taking the club forward on a sustainable and prudent basis solely because he's learned some tough financial lessons.

Second that Kevin Maguire has no information of anything significant and usually gets it wrong anyway.

And egg on my face for getting his name wrong.

Just when you think things just cannot possibly get any worse at Sheffield Wednesday though...

As if Garry Monk doesn't have enough to worry about right now

Last season the threat of relegation / EFL sanctions hung over the players

Now it's this

ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER AFTER ANOTHER

This could really be upsetting the squad in a big big way

Why would someone with 'Unlimited funds' pay commission on a loan that will also charge interest to buy a stadium that he's already bought?

To be fair the whole Hillsborough could be sold is a red herring, that's the deal with secured lending..

You don't pay they can take away.

Regarding lending, it's never been cheaper...why liquidate assets that are income producing if you can borrow for peanuts. Hopefully nothing to see her.... hopefully!!

Exactly that.

They will register a charge against the stadium. This will be the security. If he doesn’t pay they get the stadium to sell to recover their funds.

What could go wrong?
