I don't see how that, as puerile and shameful as it was, therefore permanently negates anything else Maguire has to say. Especially, as in this case, no one knows what he's even referring to. Have you looked at his Twitter feed? Seems to me to be entirely reasonable and well informed. Certainly doesn't deserve the hostility he routinely gets on here.

No seeing as the OP is a decent poster I took it as fact, and I didn't feel the need to check it out for half and hour before I commented.

It's clarification

It's calling out all those who have jumped in to attack Maguire (And other journos/pundits) without checking facts first

 

I could very easily delete this thread and make the pain go away for those who have jumped in and joined in with the mob. But why should I?

It's time each and every one of those who do this are called out and shown up once and for all 

It would really help the mob mentality if this thread went away but I want everyone to read it, stop for a moment and reflect on how they post, what they say, and their future behaviours before blindly jumping in to attack someone on the internet

I follow both  Maguire and Løhmann and the stuff they dig up can make for fascinating reading but we only ever hear their side of it, the club never responds to their findings.
