Towards the end of that game we hit the bar and Reach had a shot that would have been a goal if he could have just steered it wider. It wasn't a case necessarily of going defensive. That said, for 93 minutes we defended well, then we go down to 10 unfortunately, losing the bloke who threw himself in front of shots all game. Their goal could have been scored in the third minute, it was a quality cross and a good header, nothing to do with bad defending, nothing to do with loss of concentration, nothing to do with bottling it. What I don’t understand about the crap that gets written on here, is the fact that there is another team on the pitch. Warburtons teams are always hard working and gnarly. Once we got to grips with that, we had more space and seemed to pass the ball much sharper.
