So far, as expected

Gives us something we’re lacking. Him and Windass upfront is type of aggressive, hard working, determined forward line that would normally cause us trouble. Not the quality we’re used to but teams like Millwall, Preston etc have done well with that type of combo for decades.

Been busy, put himself about and unlucky with his chance. Reason for optimism.

Working hard, lots of pressing, putting himself about. 
Good long throw too.

Meh early days, but we got from him what I expected to get, lots of huff and puff, but no end product

Hardly noticed him to be honest worked hard enough I suppose, the QPR defence will have had harder days.

 

Not the best conditions or game to probably judge him.

Great throw in signing.

Difficult and unfair to judge after one game. Especially in a home game where we set up too negatively. However, I do think Paterson was a smart signing, his versatility, hard working and his battling attributes will help us in what's going to be a long grim battle of a season. We may see the best of him away from home or once we get a few more players in.

He's not match fit. He hasn't had time to form an understanding with the rest of the team, doesn't really know our system. Works hard and flicked a few on against big defenders and he gives us a long throw option. Also I like his aggression, about time we had some of that.

 

Patience, I think he will do well for us

Won a few headers, never looked like scoring, has a long throw and looks good for 7 goals a season.

I’d much rather have a throw in taken short, try and work a crossing position (which shouldn’t be too much to ask) and hopefully pick out the big bloke who we’ve just signed. 
Having your new big forward taking long throws is Sunday league. Embarrasing

He did some decent things, won a few flick on’s. Worked hard enough.

Hard to really judge him off today. Can tell he’s a worker. He won a few balls in the air to be fair to him which is something we have missed since Fletcher got injured and subsequently left.
