WalthamOwl
Only one I would really be gutted about is Iorfa. As has been said be nice to loan some of the young ones out as well.

Surely the buying club should be paying his contact up as part of the deal no ?
DobbinTheDonkey
Aye as part of the million fee. Otherwise the fee would have to be more than a million.

Then they don’t get him. Michael Hector is irrelevent.

No that's not right - it comes from the selling club, which is why free transfers often have larger signing on fees for both player and agent, but why when a player is in contract, the selling club demands a fee unless it is freeing up a considerable wage.

If a player is sold, the contract is effectively mutually terminated. The player can refuse to sign with a new club if the money isn't more, in that case, sometimes the selling club with pay a portion of their wages for what would have been the remainder of the players contract, to effectively mean the player doesnt take a paycut.

The only way Rhodes realistically would leave is on a free with Wednesday giving him a big fat golden handshake (probably 50% of rest of his contract) to leave. Dyslexia rules KO! Dutch McLovin
Think the only one who we can’t afford to leave would be Luongo. The rest of the first team squad can go for me even Iorfa at the right price. Id be trying hard to move on the below: Westwood - obvious reasons Palmer - stocks high as ever but he’s poor Pelupessy - pointless keeping Rhodes - wages off books Cant see us getting rid of any tho
The Night-Owl
Wouldn't be gutted to see any of our players leave, especially if we could get a favourable fee for any of them. What's held us back ever since the two failed play off campaigns, as been wasteful recruitment and not selling and reinvesting enough into the team as much as we should have. To progress further at this level in the future, we need to sell players whilst they're in demand, and do what we have been doing in the last few windows, seeking bargains and younger players with resale value. If a favourable big offer came in for Iorfa or any of our other players, we'd be foolish not to consider accepting it. Considering our recent P&S issues and we still could do with strengthening the team in a few areas.

Could maybe see someone come in for Reach but it wouldn’t be enough for us to warrant him letting him go. Another example of us hanging on to players past their sell by date. Other than that, I can’t imagine anyone else coming in for our players.
Bassetts Allsorts
Westwood will be gone, even if it's just on loan to cover a percentage of his wages. Not sure on Rhodes, we're too short in that position to let him leave on loan so would have to be a transfer (very unlikely). Chansiri will want £1 billion in cash for Iorfa so he'll be staying. Reach might attract some interest if we send a copy of his greatest goals to every football club in world, and just hope they've never actually seen him play. And the only club stupid enough to buy Pelupessy is us so we'll probably put a £500k offer in for him on deadline day.
gurujuan
Without others coming in, we can’t really afford to get rid of anyone.
oldishowl
Hopefully Monk will be making sure DC plays ball to move Westwood on. Rightly or wrongly he ain’t going to play for us again unless we have a glut of keeper injuries and we can offload just half of his wages if might pay for a good loanee who will contribute. Just think it will be difficult to get a deal done.

GMOwl72
Makes me laugh how some see Iorfa’s value at £10m. If someone came to us offering a third of that we should sell imo so long as it gets reinvested in the team. Dunks is fit and raring to go isn’t he...........
