Beholder 10,261
Being heavily linked by Dom Howson. https://www.espn.com/soccer/player/stats/_/id/176834/callum-paterson
FreshOwl 9,552
Best we can hope for I guess
WhiteOwl91 2,640
Think he would be a v good addition. We've been a side whos too 'nice' for too long, he would at least add some characteristics were missing.
owlinexile 2,782
Solid championship player. What position does he mainly play in these days?
gurujuan 12,518
It would be a far cry from those early summer links, when we were linked to a string of outstanding young talents Since the signing of Izzy Brown, even the rumours are all a bit meh
PeakOwl 377
Weren’t we after him before he signed for Cardiff? Not played this season for them, attacking wing back, though right sided I think? Another player that can play in a number of positions though. Would definitely bring more goals. 25 years old. Only question mark is his injury record. Be a great signing if we could land him. Att following apparently, so nailed on.
Quist 2,553
Yesterday Howson said he had noknowledge of us being in for him. Having said that think Monks change in comment indicated somethinghad moved, Expect him to sign today.
whatdial 1,740
Another big lump that doesn’t score goals. Got rid of one of them 1
WalthamOwl 17,730
If he does sign it will be interesting what position Monk plays him in. Imo we would still need a target man as well as Paterson.
gurujuan 12,518
Just now, whatdial said: Another big lump that doesn’t score goals. Got rid of one of them As a right back, his goals record is pretty impressive, as a striker, nah

In our position with how small the squad is that would be very useful.

WalthamOwl 17,730
It’s nice to have a few players in the squad that can play in various positions but we need players that are specialists in one position, especially up top, something we are really missing.
wilyfox 22,197
He hasn't really been a right-back for a few years now. Watched an interview with him saying he was a striker at Hearts before he played right-back. Seems he's made his way back to that position. Personally, I like him. He's aggressive, excellent in the air, and is a strong finisher with either foot. He can play.
Bing Cosby 7,135
Good player at this level Paterson; strong, aggressive, technically gifted, good in the air and can play in a number of positions. A million times better as a makeshift striker than Reach.

Devonstrix 641
Apparently had played mainly as an attacking midfielder at Cardiff. 20 goals from less than 100 matches sounds pretty good to me.

Whenever I’ve seen him in that role, he always looks like a makeshift striker, someone you send up front in desperation Maybe you’ve seen a bit more of him than me, and he does have the makings of a bona fide striker. There are plenty of Wednesday fans who would say Warhurst was a good striker, and that goalscoring burst he had with us, would seem to back that up. In reality though, he didn’t think like a striker, which made him difficult to play with, and maybe even to play against. Patterson might be a useful addition, I’m neither for or against, but he certainly isn’t a priority right now
