JP will leave at the end of the season when his contract expires..we won’t be selling him to anybody😂

Yes more than likely, however if we put him for sale in January I’m sure somebody would pay something for him. It will more than likely be peanuts however it’s still more than what hutch would be able to raise.

OK, as you didn't get my point, I'll spell it out for you.

As some on here were saying that mardy arse would find a better club than us, I fully expected to see him in a puma, nike or Adidas kit, or similar. He isn't, so he can't be that good, and those who said he was now look a bit silly.

Correction ...a lot silly

I'm actually quite surprised by this move, not because I thought Hutchinson was still a fantastic player who the cream of the Championship would be falling over themselves to sign, but because of what it could suggest about his mindset at this point in his career.

He's always struck me as a fighter, for better or worse, and someone who would back himself to the hilt. Yes, the lifestyle in Cyprus could be great, but it's hardly a hotbed of competitive football, is it? A lower Championship or even League One club would surely have offered him a greater element of challenge and competitiveness.

Signing for a club over there is tantamount to accepting that he's entering the twilight of his career in my eyes, which isn't something I expected to see from Hutchinson at this point, given that he only turned 31 last month.

Yet how may said he should have been allowed to stay here?..

Couple years in Cyprus, then maybe finish in the MLS upon retirement. That’s what I’d do. Jealous!

the MLS is at least a few rungs higher than the ******** Cypriot domestic.

What an embarrassment.  After years of the big Billy testicles routine, he ends up off the veritable map.

Lot of people seem pretty jealous at a millionaire getting paid handsomely to live in Cyprus and kick a ball around a few times a month

No one is jealous. All I care about is what is best for SWFC.

The love for Hutchinson from some on here over the last year has been cringeworthy.

He was an overpaid employee.

He is now going to play football in a backwater in front of 700 fans.

Thank god he’s gone. Along with the likes of FF.

I hope it dawns on the love in crowd that this club doesn’t need big time Charlie’s - the likes of Hutchinson with “I’m a cultured centre half from Chelsea” attitudes aren’t needed.

Player power within clubs which has emerged in the last 20 years is another sign of a game dominated by money.

It needs hard working, dedicated players that can play to the managers system/style of play as a unit.

The playing side of any club has to be run by the manager and coaches without being undermined.

We might just have a chance of that happening now.

Beat me to it.

He's not short of a few bob, and now gets to play a more relaxed pace of football in a beautiful location

Often thought if I was a professional footballer,  I would make decisions on the location I would be playing in, rather than standard or chasing the biggest wage packet.

Good luck and I do find strange all the experts on here who seem convinced nobody wanted him in Championship.

Said similar in Nuhiu thread although these aren't same size club who genuinely at 30+ would choose Rotherham, Barnsley, Birmingham etc over a few years in Cyprus and that lifestyle?

This is so often overlooked by fans I think when talking about player moves. I think some fans forget that players will have families and make decisions based on that as well as money and football club ambitions.

If I were a player for example, the thought of London or a big city would be awful to me as I love being out in the hills. I'd take less money for a better lifestyle that suited me and my family.

Hutch, Westwood, FF, Fletcher, Hooper all took millions out of our club, and put very little back.

Their combined wages would pay for whole squads at some Championship clubs that regularly finished above us.

Never forget, and never make the same mistakes again DC. Family my arse.

Most professional footballers wouldn't choose Cyprus unless they had no other options

They have got the rest of their lives to go and throw it off in Cyprus

The lovers probably know this but would rather come out with the lifestyle guff to save face
