Marro Posted September 19, 2020 Share Posted September 19, 2020 I think many of us have been pleasantly surprised by our start to the season. 4 clean sheets and positivity emanating from the dressing room. Winnall is a good signing and will score 1 in 4 but he’s not an out and out goal scorer. Do we splash the cash on someone who’s a shoe-in to get us 20 plus a season, ensure Championship safety and maybe push for a play off spot? Or would this destroy team morale? Should we gamble? Not for me the last time we splashed the cash to guarantee goals.... Well we ended up stuck with a financial millstone we can't shift and that hasn't worked out. Kachunga and Windass will get goals, but for me we need a centre forward, dosent need to be too prolific, but capeble of bringing others into play,holding the ball up when needed and with the work ethic /attitudes were looking at building.
