Popular Post Lord Snooty
****** ****** A very positive first half. Probably should have been a couple of goals up. Second half they came into it, but that's going to happen in games. We're not going to have it all out own way. I don't know about you, but I always thought this would be a stern test, and it has been that second half. But I'd have taken a point before the game, wouldn't you? I'll tell you what, old Van Aken looks better for his little loan spell away last season. Some great blocks today and really put his body on the line. Well done that man. -8 Oh. And another clean sheet!! 4 on the bounce. Well done Dawson. Well done boys UP THE OWLS 12 2
stocksyuto
Dawson, couple of fantastic saves today. Watford kept us pretty quiet 3

Pieman
Brown for his first half performance. Bit worried that he looked injured at the end.
sagesse
Windass. Body on the line, good hold up play. Never stopped. But could easily have been Dawson - a couple of match-saving saves.

axolotl
Lees for me. Solid at the back. Taking the armband off of him really seems to have helped him

beswetherick
I thought Lees was excellent today — the whole team put a proper shift in though, nobody performed badly
No Uniform
Luongo was everywhere. Defensively Lees cleared everything.

He’d have been my MOTM today if he wasn’t so agricultural 1
OwlBiSeeinThi
Close between Dawson, Windass, Luongo and Harris. I went with Windass for his workrate and application, but it could have been any of the others. It's a good team work ethic if it becomes difficult to pick a MOM.

Van aken had a good game today made some vital stops near the end, and Dawson is the reason we got a point some top saves made.

No Uniform
Weird a lot are seeing Dawson's performance different to me. I like him, but thought he wasn't the best today. Didn't come and claim the ball, spilled saves that he can normally keep hold off.
Bez
Windass. Tons of energy, created chances, goal saving block.

Got away with two balls parried straight back into dangerous areas
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Lees was more like the player he used to be today. He won everything in the air and kept it simple by clearing the danger and buying the team some time to regroup when we were under the cosh a bit during the second half. Brown was excellent in the first half and really put Watford under pressure, but he was a lot quieter in the second half.
