FOUR ON THE BOUNCE! Yet ANOTHER clean sheet

Recommended Posts

Lets be honest though, Dawson still looks shaky. One decent save and a couple of others were ok. But handling was really poor throughout.

We need consistency.

Westwood-lovers frustrated as yet another clean sheet silences their calls for his return.

Dawson's form went down hill when Rhodes left and Weaver took over.

Glad we have a new goalkeeping coach, hopefully Dawson and Wildsmith can get back to their best and improve.

Dawson made some good saves today but needs to work on his kicking.

That's four clean sheets on the bounce now (five if you include the Leicester pre-season friendly)

Immaculate defending from the lads, Van Aken defending solidly too who has looked class since coming back, and some class saves from Cameron Dawson today

Well done Garry Monk - saw the issue last season, pulled new faces in, a new coaching team, and worked on the defence and it's paying off

Superb Monk

Superb Chansiri for backing him

Anyone else worried that Dawson doesn't have the ability/technique to put the ball behind or wide after a save.

Couple of half decent saves, expected to make, where the ball ends up right in the danger zone.

Either catch it or push it wide.

Too much ale mate

Thought we looked a lot more streetwise today than we have done for a long time. Occasional shíthousery, getting in the ref’s ear and tactical fouls in the middle third to stop them from building attacks if we were overstretched — the kind of things teams have done against us for years. Nice to see us dishing it out for a change

We look well organized in both midfield and defense. Need to be a bit more aggressive on the counter though or we're gonna wind up with a lot of 0-0s. Still happy with the point and we look hard to beat.

There's enough to worry about in this world without worrying on a Saturday evening about a keeper, who has just kept four clean sheets in a row.

Enjoy...

And Van Aken haters seem equally frustrated.

tbh I was one of those. I didn’t think he’d turn it round after 3 difficult years. Early doors, but he’s certainly having a go. Keep it up Joost.
